Crews advise of a planned water outage in Mallow, Co. Cork

Our crews wish to advise customers in Ballyellis, Mallow, county Cork, of a planned water outage from 8pm – 12am on Wednesday, 19 March to facilitate works as part of the Treated Water Storage Programme.

Our crews wish to advise customers in Ballyellis, Mallow, county Cork, of a planned water outage from 8pm – 12am on Wednesday, 19 March to facilitate works as part of the Treated Water Storage Programme.

Homes and businesses in Quarterstown Industrial Estate, IDA Industrial Estate Mallow, Ballydaheen Industrial Estate, Gould’s Hill , Gould’s Hill Estate, Cork Road Mallow, Old Cork Road Mallow, College Wood, Meadow Grove, Bellevue, Church View, Bear Forest Lower, Ballydaheen Upper and Lower, Carhookeal and Summer Hill will have an outage. 

Other catchment regions affected by the planned outage include Cordoline’s Estate, Willow Bank, Waters Place, Croke Place, O' Sullivan’s Place, Seán Moylan Park, Blackrock Park, Blackwater Drive, Avondale Park, Duhallow Park, Ashbrook, Eglantine Crescent, Eglantine Drive, Millbrook, Meadow Grove, Powerscourt, Cannon Sheehan Place, Town View, Dromore Drive, Ballyellis and surrounding areas may experience low water pressure, temporary water discolouration or intermittent disruptions to water supply. 

Every effort will be made to reduce the impact of these works on homes and businesses and to restore the water supply as quickly as possible. Uisce Éireann would like to thank the community in advance for their patience and co-operation.
