Customers on the Mid-Galway Public Water Supply Scheme may be experiencing disruptions to their supply this evening as a result of power outages at the Danganbeg Water Treatment Plant.

Uisce Éireann customers on the Mid-Galway Public Water Supply Scheme may be experiencing disruptions to their supply this evening as a result of power outages at the Danganbeg Water Treatment Plant.
Following Storm Darragh, customers in Abbeyknockmoy, Monivea, Newcastle, Tamplecross, Gurteen, Carrabane, Cahertinny, Caherhenryhoe, Attymon and Kiltullagh and surrounding areas may experience supply issues or intermittent outages into tonight and tomorrow morning.
Uisce Éireann is working with the ESB to restore power and return water supplies to normal levels as quickly as possible.
Customers are urged to conserve water where possible in order to protect supply while the outages are resolved. For simple ways to conserve water, check out the Uisce Éireann conservation calculator (www.water.ie/calculator) which can help people work out how much water they are currently using and how they can conserve even more.
Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications from us for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
