Uisce Éireann assures customers on the Mullagh Public Water Supply that every effort is being made to minimise disruption to the supply following Storm Darragh.
A power outage at Cuilcagh Water Treatment Plant as a result of the storm has affected operations and customers are expected to experience a loss in pressure or outages to their supply tonight and into tomorrow.
Uisce Éireann’s Peter Gallagher assured customers that Uisce Éireann is working with the ESB to restore power and return the water supply to normal levels as quickly as possible.
Customers are urged to conserve water where possible in order to protect supply while the outages are resolved. For simple ways to conserve water, check out our conservation calculator which can help people work out how much water they are currently using and how they can conserve even more.
Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications from us for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
