Water supply returning to Belmullet customers impacted by burst

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section.

Uisce Éireann crews have successfully completed repairs following a burst on Belmullet's Church Road.

Following report of the burst, dedicated crews worked throughout the day to restore normal supply to impacted customers on Church Street and surrounding areas as quickly as possible.

Water is now returning to those affected. Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to restore to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.

"On behalf of Uisce Éireann, I'd like to thank customers who were impacted by this unplanned outage for their patience, co-operation, and assistance while we worked to complete the repairs as quickly as possible and regret any inconvenience caused".
