Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section.
Uisce Éireann wishes to advise customers in Drogheda of planned water outages on Wednesday 24 July, from 9am to 6pm to facilitate essential works to the water network in North Drogheda.
Homes and businesses in Newtownstalaban, Newfoundwell Road, Greenhills, Westcourt, Cord Road, Termon Abbey, Termonfeckin, Baltray, Balfeddock, Beltichburne, Banktown, Ballydonnell, Duffsfarm, Seapoint, An Grianan, Beaulieu, Ganderpark, Westcourt, The Priory, Bridgeview, Mount Sandford, College Rise, Harmony Heights, Newtown Meadows, Aston Village and surrounding areas may be impacted by reduced water pressure or supply interruptions.
Uisce Éireann’s Sinéad Kennedy assures local homes and businesses that every effort will be made to reduce the impact of the works and restore the water supply following works as quickly as possible.
“We understand the impact that outages can have on customers and would like to thank the local community in advance for their patience and co-operation during these essential works.”
Following works, it can take two to three hours for normal water supply to return to all customers as the network replenishes. As the water supply returns, there may be some increased short-term instances of discoloured water.
