Nighttime water restrictions lifted in Macroom, Co. Cork

Nighttime water restrictions in place in Macroom, Co. Cork have been lifted. These restrictions were due to weather related operational issues at the Water Treatment Plant coupled with high demand. The measures were put in place to ensure sufficient water supply to homes and businesses during daytime hours.

Uisce Éireann will continue to monitor water levels and ensure that customers are updated should any further restrictions be required. Uisce Éireann thanks customers for their patience during the restrictions and especially for their efforts to conserve water.
