Local homes and businesses encouraged to join connection to Cross and The Neale wastewater networks

Homes and businesses in the villages of Cross and The Neale are encouraged to connect to newly commissioned wastewater networks. 

Uisce Éireann has completed work on two local wastewater plants and are now accepting connections to the network. 

Uisce Éireann’s Ronan McDonnell explained the benefits of a connection for the communities. 
“Safeguarding the environment and providing for future growth and development across the county is a priority for Uisce Éireann."
“The wastewater plants in Cross and The Neale are now up and running and this new wastewater infrastructure will not only allow for the decommission of old septic tanks, but it will meet future demand and support social and economic development in the Cross and The Neale areas.”
