Crews repair Ballinamore burst

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section.

Uisce Éireann crews in Leitrim have repaired a burst which was impacting customers supplied by the South Leitrim Regional Water Supply Scheme this afternoon.

A normal water supply is now returning to customers in the Foxfield, Fenagh, Ballinamore, and surrounding areas in Co Leitrim.

Uisce Éireann’s Peadar Griffin thanked customers for their patience while crews carried out repair works.
“We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support while our crews worked to ensure that a normal water supply is returned to all of our customers as soon as possible,” said Peadar.

Repair works were completed at 3pm this afternoon (Friday, 2 August) and Uisce Éireann recommends that customers allow two to three hours after repairs for normal supply to return to homes and businesses.
