Works underway to restore supply to Crosshaven consumers
Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section.
Uisce Éireann are continuing to carry out repair works at The Hill, Garball Bay Road in Crosshaven following a burst watermain yesterday, 24th October. These repair works are proving to be a bit more difficult than usual and requires us to replace approximately 70m of watermain. Therefore, we do not expect to be finished works and have supply returned this evening.
An alternative water supply will be made available for the approx. 20 homes impacted by this outage. A tanker will be in place at Ardcross, Graball Bay Road, Crosshaven from approx. 3pm today.
Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from the tanker and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
