Galway road reopens after essential connection works
Uisce Éireann and Galway City Council wish to advise motorists that Cappagh Road has reopened to traffic after a closure to facilitate essential works.
The route from Barna Road to Western Distributor Road closed on Monday, 3 July to allow for connection works for a new development but it has now fully reopened to traffic.
Uisce Éireann's Peter O'Halloran thanked the community for their patience and co-operation.
"We understand that this type of work is inconvenient. Our crews carried out the connections as quickly as possible to minimise disruption to the local community."
