Works will be carried out on the water network on Tuesday, 5 September from 10am to 4pm .

Uisce Éireann and Fingal County Council wish to advise customers in Howth that essential works will be carried out on the water network on Tuesday, 5 September from 10am to 4pm .

These works may lead to low water pressure and interruption to the water supply for homes and businesses in Howth and surrounding areas in Dublin 13.

Speaking about the essential works, Programme Manager with Uisce Éireann, Dave Murphy said:

"Every effort will be made to reduce the impact of these works on homes and businesses and restore the water supply as quickly as possible. We understand the inconvenience that these outages can have on our customers and we appreciate their patience while we proceed with these works."

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann will receive direct communications from us for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. Following repairs, it can take 2 to 3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers as water refills the network.

The Uisce Éireann customer care helpline is open 24/7 on 1800 278 278 and customers can also contact us on Twitter @IWCare with any queries. For updates please visit the Water Supply Updates.
