Essential maintenance works required at Longwood Water Treatment Plant

Uisce Éireann wishes to advise customers in Longwood and surrounding areas of essential maintenance works scheduled at the Longwood Water Treatment Plant. These works are necessary to ensure the ongoing safety and reliability of the water supply in the area.
During the works, customers may experience intermittent loss of water pressure and temporary disruptions to their water supply. The maintenance works will be carried out on Tuesday, November 14 from 10 pm until Wednesday, November 15 at 12.01 am. Additionally, there will be a further disruption in supply on Wednesday, November 15, from 10 am to 3 pm.
To minimise inconvenience and ensure the safety of vulnerable customers, Uisce Éireann will be directly communicating with registered vulnerable customers regarding this planned maintenance work.
Michael Cunniffe, Uisce Éireann, emphasised the importance of these essential maintenance works, stating, "This work at Longwood Water Treatment Plant is necessary in order to continue providing a safe and reliable water supply to our customers in the area.
Michael added: "Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when planned works like this occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we complete these essential works".
