Crews working to quickly restore water supply for customers in the Freemount area

Uisce Éireann is working with Cork County Council to restore water as quickly as possible to impacted customers following an outage at the Freemont Water Treatment Plant overnight.
Whilst every effort is being made to maintain supply to as many customers as possible through reconfiguring the network, the outage is impacting the water supply to approximately 1,000 people in the Milford, Liscarroll, Freemount, Bregogue and surrounding areas.
Speaking about the outage, Pat Britton from Uisce Éireann said,
"The repairs are being conducted as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimise disruption to the community and restore water for all customers."
