Change of supply for some customers in Kilcash area of County Tipperary
Due to an operational issue impacting supply, the Kilcash Public Water Supply Scheme in County Tipperary is experiencing a water shortage.
To help manage the situation and ensure water supply for all customers, the Kilcash Public Water Supply Scheme will be supplemented from the Templetney Water Supply Scheme from today Friday,7 July to provide additional capacity.
Customers from the lower end of the Kilcash Public Water Supply Scheme up to the Cois Coille housing estate may notice a change in their supply as the Templetney source is a hard water supply. Hard water is safe to drink and meets the drinking water regulations.
