Burst watermain impacting Gowran, Goresbridge, and Paulstown

Uisce Éireann working in partnership with Kilkenny County Council, have successfully repaired a burst watermain impacting customers in Gowran, Goresbridge, Paulstown and surrounding areas in Co Kilkenny.
It typically takes two to three hours for water to refill the network and normal supply to restore to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.
Uisce Éireann and Kilkenny County Council understand the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thank customers for their patience while we worked to repair the burst and restore supply to impacted customers as quickly and as safely as possible. Uisce Éireann and Kilkenny County Council are working to restore water supply to approximately 3,000 customers in Gowran, Goresbridge, Paulstown and surrounding areas due to a burst watermain.
Repairs are expected to be completed by 12pm tomorrow, however, it typically takes two to three hours following repairs for the network to refill and for normal water supply to restore to all customers.
