Advice of essential works in Navan to safeguard the water supply to homes and businesses
Uisce Éireann is working in partnership with Meath County Council to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in Navan.
Essential valve installation works are scheduled to take place on Wednesday 24 August from 4am to 5pm. While these on-going improvements to the water supply network are underway, some customers in Windtown Road and surrounding areas in Navan may experience a temporary disruption to their water supply to include low water pressure and/or discolouration.
Speaking about the essential works Michael Cunniffe, Uisce Éireann's Asset Operations Lead, said: "We understand that this type of work can be inconvenient and working in partnership with Meath County Council we will make every effort to minimise any disruption that these necessary works may cause. The delivery of these essential works will help to safeguard the water supply to homes and businesses in the area ensuring a safer, more sustainable water supply."
