Staleen Water Treatment Plant Upgrade
What is involved as part of this project?
The following works are proposed as part of the project:
- Upgrade of Roughrange Raw Water Pumping Station
- Upgrade of the coagulation, flocculation and sedimentation process
- Upgrade of three existing rapid gravity filters at the plant
- Upgrade of the liquid and solid residual process
What are the benefits of these works?
The works carried out as part of this project will:
- Improve the security of the drinking water supply and provide greater network resilience across Navan, Mid Meath, East Meath, and South Louth Water Supply Zones (WSZs).
- Enable the long term social and economic development of the wider Co. Meath and Co. Louth area.
