What is involved as part of this project?

The project site is located east of Celbridge stretching for approximately 5km along the Dublin Road from Celbridge town and into South County Dublin. The first site can be characterised as opening at Primrose Hill Pumping Station on the Hazelhatch Road (R405) beside the local National School. From there it rounds the corner on to the Dublin Road and travels east towards Dublin connecting to an existing section of rising sewer constructed by South Dublin County Council (SDCC) as part of the ongoing Celbridge Link Road works. Primrose Hill Pumping Station will also be upgraded as part of this project.

The second site related to the rising sewer works from the Celbridge Link Road along Tubber Lane Road. This is a short section of rising sewer that terminates at Tobermaclugg Pumping Station and has been completed as of Q4 2022.
