Uisce Éireann crews are working to repair a burst on the Old Doolough Public Water Supply.

Every effort is being made to maintain water supply to as many customers as possible, however the burst may cause supply disruptions to customers in Miltown Malbay, Spanish Point, Quilty, Mullagh, Coore, Creegh, Cooraclare, Cahermurphy and surrounding areas in Co. Clare.

Uisce Éireann’s Darragh Conneely assured customers that every effort is being made to carry out repairs as quickly as possible. “We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support while our crews work to ensure that a normal water supply is returned to all of our customers as quickly as possible.”

Works are scheduled to be complete by 5pm this evening.

Uisce Éireann recommends that customers allow two to three hours after repairs for normal supply to return to homes and businesses.
